GNX Module-to-Module Interface Cable (Type-C to Type-C) special?

Is the GNX Module-to-Module Interface Cable (Type-C to Type-C) a regular USB-C (Type-C to Type-C) cable or is it special?
I'm asking as I'm thinking of mounting my GNX and my THQ+WWII separately, but I'm not sure if I can do it this way or if I need the GNX USB Controller (HID-Main) and connect them individually (thus losing the neat feature that the whole combo is one device in Windows).

It's a regular data cable, any 3rd party cable should work. Alternatively, you could get a GNX HID controller and run the THQ independently.

Thanks, a data cable (longer than the one in the store) will have to do. When I order my next upgrade to my VKB ecosystem I'll make sure to order a HID controller just to be safe )
