Has the new KG12 arrived with the latest batch by any chance? Should we expect it in the store in the next few days? Thanks, it helps us consolidate orders.

I guess this didn't pan out finally. Pity, looks like a nice grip.

Can't compare it to the older KG-12, but yes: It *is* a very nice grip. :)

So, seeing as these are now in stock - would there be any reason this would not be compatible with a Gladiator K base? Its got the same contacts as the Gunfighter bases but it's not explicitly mentioned in the product page. From what I see in the latest firmware batch there's just a KG12 firmware regardless of it being v1 or v2 for the Gunfighters (and Gladiators).

The new KG12 grip is compatible with the Gladiator K; just make sure you'd order it with GF connector.

The new KG12 is a nice grip. The instructions say it's an 8 way hat switch, but it's only a four way or am I missing something?
Also, it would be good if the hat switch could be equipped with a push function, maybe an upgrade set would be possible?

Since I don't use it as a POV and only need four functions on the hat, I just had to check it in VKB Config and there are indeed only 4 switches on the hat (N, S, W, E)... but there are in-between positions that will light up both buttons... so, pushing it NW will trigger both the N- and W-button. I'm not 100% sure how actual 8-way POVs handle this (the KG-12's hat is not handled/labeled as a POV) - meaning I don't know if other hats actually have eight distinct buttons/switches or use the same "4 buttons but 8 positions"-system.

AFAIK, the old KG-12 did have a push function on the hat, but no side-button. I would definitely like to see the hat get its push function back, plus they could probably integrate another pinky button since the one that's on there now is actuated by a lever. Perhaps for a future, "Ultimate"-version of the grip...?
