VKB Ultimate - side switch failure

Dear VKB,
I have raised a support ticket #5910 , tbh the support page is not great, opens a page in a page and Im unable to update the ticket in any way or display the content.
I wanted to update the description as I put in left hat but its the left 5way switch (the side one).
Also tested a friends MCG Pro and everything works there. So it really looks like a failure in my Ultimate
tried flashing new FW, restart of everything, reseating etc. but its just that switch not working so I assume its not a base or connection issue.
