Hi,
I emailed you last week but haven't received any reply.
I'm looking at buying some items. My Billing address is in the UK, but delivery is to be in France.
However, when I put in my VAT number, the website says it's invalid. I've tried using both my VAT number alone, and prefixing it with the GB prefix. Both are refused.
I'm not sure whether in my case I should be charged VAT at all - I did read some posts in the shipping to UK thread about this as the UK is no longer part of the EU...

Can anyone confirm what has to be done?

Sorry, it is not possible to ship to your address in France wihout VAT. Since Great Britain has left EU, GB VAT numbers are not validated against EU database.Therefore, it is not eligible to ship without applying valid EU VAT number.

As your order is to be shipped to France, we have to apply French VAT. If your shipping address is in GB, it will be shipped without VAT.

BTW, it's a bit worrying that the forum does not use SSL in any way? Sending passwords, etc, unencrypted over the internet...
