NXT base compatibility

Hi,
I have few questions,
First, I purchased NXT gladiators, left and right variant, I was wondering if I can keep the right base, as a button box, but equip it with better grip, such as GF MK3, featuring brake lever and somewhat different layout, or they aren't compatible?
Do you have in plan to offer NXT grips with brake levers in the future?
Second question, I just ordered MK4 pedals to match my setup, I was wondering if there is a way to connect pedals and two NXT bases using one of your external controller units to save some space on USB ports,
other than buying powered usb hub?
Lastly, it was kinda hard to tell from text, but do we have a possibility to equip rudder pedals with some aftermarket pistons for heavier resistance? do they even feature any resistance on axes while pressing?
Thank you for providing insight.
