Problems Mapping Button to Key

Postby kensaundm31 » Wed Jul 29, 2020 0:31

I have Space and MCG sticks and and I want to map left ALT to a button, so I can use as modifer in game.

I can map a key from the dropdown menu, but none of those are left ALT, so I can tick left ALT but that also means it presses one of the keyboard keys in the dropdown menu.

So how do i have the button press return ONLY left ALT?

Show screenshots of the tabs in which you configure this. This will make it easier to understand where the mistake was made.

The problem is that I only want left ALt on its own, but in the dropdown menu you cannot leave it empty, it has to have some other key. I dont want any other key, just left ALT.

Firstly, in order for keyboard mapping to work, you must first enable it. You will have 2 devices.

Secondly, if you scroll down the list of all keys and select the most extreme one, put a checkbox on the required (left / right) key, then only it will work as a result.

Remember how we entered Test into the Log mode of the keyboard, and we exit in the reverse order. Checked "Keyboard" - checked - removed "Keyboard" - exited Log. This is exactly the way and no other way.
