Squeaky trigger

Quick question: I recently acquired VKB GFIII with MCG Pro Rus grip. Works great, as expected, but after a few days of use I noticed that the second (flip open) trigger started squeaking. Nothing overly irritating at the moment, but it may get worse with time, so I wonder if I need to lubricate it or something like that. So, I was wondering if this is a common issue, and if it is just a case of taking a grip apart and applying some lubricant? I have some Silverhook silicon grease that I bought for my WH throttle that should be arriving soon (should I need it) - will that do the job?
