Gunfighter MCG is on the way to EU

Hello all,

Finally, I am happy to announce that new VKB products are on their way to EU store.

It took extra time as our manufacturing department had to spend additional efforts to improve durability of MCG grips based on the feedback we got from early customers. Now, the batch for EU is fully completed, tested and on its way to Rotterdam, NL. It will take several weeks to arrive to the Netherlands and get cleared. So the shipping will be started in April. Sorry for delay for one month but it was required to improve quality of our products.

What we will offer for EU customers:

  • Gunfighter Mk.II Pro/non-Pro with MCG Pro/non-Pro grip with En/Ru engravings
  • Gunfighter Mk.II KG12
  • T-Rudder Mk.IV
Basically we are going to offer the full range of Gunfighter Mk.II line.

We never start accepting orders for new products if availability date may slip and could not be secured. As we have now concrete dates for availability of items in stock, I am going to open the ordering. In order to do so, the website will be migrated to the new platform these days so please expect that the website will be closed for couple of days.

Best regards,
Eduard

It is not parts, it is just improvement of assembly technic and materials

I am sure we will address it but need to clarify that internally first.

Thanks for the info. Only a question. Will we also get the corresponding Warthog adapters for the Gunfighter (Rev B?) ?

You guys addressed this in September last year:

"MCG production is still being finalized. Sorry that it takes longer than expected but we cannot afford to issue any product on the market with known flaws until everything is fixed and polished as much as possible. It is expected to start offer it for EU customers in January 2018. All models will be available supporting sockets of Black Mamba, Gunfighter (rev.A and rev.B) and, even, Thrustmaster Warthog base. For some older sockets it may require pre-ordering but it is not yet needed. More information will come by the end of the year."

Is this no longer accurate?

I would like to know if you will also ship only the grips MCG and/or MCG Pro for the Gladiator Pro mk.2?

To clarify questions about MCG / MCG Pro for Gunfighter Mk.I:
There will be no separate MCG in the EU bulk shipment in April, however, we will offer those grips for Gunfighter Mk.I owners with shipment in June. Some variants could be available earlier.

Yes, KG12 grip will be offered with shipping date in May. Please, note that MCG and KG12 grip are not plug-n-play swappable. Each time when the grip is swapped, specific firmware has to be loaded as this allows controller map and use all grip controls correctly.
Hadarmil wrote:What about the Gladiator Pro mk.2?

I need to verify when the firmware is available. Gladiator Pro/non-Pro requires special firmware, designed for Gladiator. That could be a showstopper for now.

Thank you for the information. I am really disappointed in this. Can I send this joystick back to you. To be honest it's useless for modern sims. I can't wait any longer for this mcg. Now June? This is unacceptable. I have to keep putting the tensioner assembly back together. While the gimbal is excellent, my faith in vkb coupled with the lack of ready information I have lost faith in your company.
