Hello to all. I would like to know if there is an estimated date for the European sale of the STECS Space Throttle Add-On Grip (STG).
I would like to buy it for my STECS.
Thanks, best regards.

Uhhh.... sea freights nowadays are a huge pain due to the Middle East unrest. Impossible to tell the exact day but of course we're trying our best to make it happen asap. Not much depends on us, unfortunately.

Re: STG in Europe.
I mailed VKB 10 days ago and the answer was:
"we received STECS Mk.II in stock. The next will be Space grips, it would take about a months. After that the STECS Space sets will arrive but exact date is yet unknown."
Means maybe check in 6+ months...

Re: STG in Europe.
I also asked and the only answer was to wait and watch the Website.
Hope there coming enough of it

If that's the case then my VKB stuff is being sold as i am quickly getting past caring now. I don't buy the whole shipping times through the middle east excuse now, especially when i see the EU and UK store receiving stock of the standard STECS and EVOs every few weeks. You're telling me that the houthis are only going for the ships with the space grips onboard?

I took the Houthi thread to mean "ships are diverted around the Cape of Good Hope, causing delays between half a month and a whole month", rather than "VKB shipments are getting stolen/destroyed". The stuff FSC is getting in stock is from containers that were sent out before space throttles were ready.
Shipping from Hong Kong to Rotterdam takes about 1-2 months via the Suez canal, so let us assume a worst case of about 3 months port-to-port. STGs were first sold in mid-late February, with the full throttles following a little while later in early March. Factor in a few delays due to local shipping between factory, ports and EU shop, and taking into account that FSC is not getting a new container every week, a late June / early July date seems plausible, if on the upper end.
Though I am kinda curious why something as exciting as an all new type of throttle did not warrant an airlift option
