GF Mk III to Mk IV upgrade-kit still in the works? Plus sale-question

1. I seem to remember that an upgrade from Mk III to Mk IV had been in works/announced a while back. Since I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger (har, har) on a MCGU but I am on a Mk III GF, I'd be interested to know if that upgrade is still forthcoming and, if so, what the ETA is. I mean... since I'd have to order the grip specifically for either a Mk III or Mk IV gimbal, I don't want to spend a few hundred bucks on a new grip that wouldn't work with a Mk IV type of gimbal (or with an upgraded gimbal)? Also not sure if the upgrade would also include the new connection type or if it'd just be the parts related to the adjustable spring tensioners, so I thought I'd ask before ordering.

2. Is the current promo-code active already? Doesn't seem to work with the MCGU stand-alone grip... or is that product excluded from the sale? :/

From what I've seen, the Conversion Kits are available in the US but not in the EU. I'm unfortunately stuck with the GF Modern Combat Ultimate Stick because i couldn't afford to buy both at the same time, while shortly after the purchase the Mk. IV was announced :/ . Seeing that you can maybe use some Services to ship from the US to EU being a possibility, it is also very expensive to do so unfortunately, i guess we have to wait and see when it will arrive in Europe.

Currently US store is offering something different. It is a set of a stand-alone GFIV base + conversion kit for a grip.
That one we will offer too but it is not exactly the upgrade kit GFIII -> GFIV but replacement of the base what 1sascha has asked about.

Unfortunately I as a representative of VKB FSC Europe do not have information about new products or upgrade sets. It is more question to HQ Product management. We offer more or less the same products as US store but with some delay due to lengthy shipping from the factory to us.

With regards of VKB21 sale - it was only valid for complete controller sets such as Gladiator or Gunfighter sets. We include however stand-alone grip extensions which was extra for EU market, not worldwide. Grips were not part of that sale.

Good to know that at least that option will appear at FSC. Hopefully sooner than later, but anything is better than never.

I only see the Gunfighter IV base-only, and GRIP upgrade kits, on the US store right now. That would be to swap the grip interface to match the new GFIV base Rev C interface...but not upgrade a GFIII base to a GF IV base.
