What exactly does this mean?

Postby Khryshain » Thu Aug 01, 2024 17:47

Updated 30.07.2024:

The Gladiator batch is finally arrived to us today, on the 30th of July. The first orders placed in the beginning of June are on its way to the clients.

We expect to ship all orders placed in June by the end of this week. Next week all orders placed in July should be shipped as well.

Some Gladiator NXT EVO variants listed below are staying on backorder until the backlog is cleared and all pending orders are shipped.

NXT EVO Omni Throttle Premium Left-handed
NXT EVO Premium Right-handed
NXT EVO Standard Right-handed
NXT EVO KG12 (WWII)
All currently placed backorders for Gladiator NXT EVO will be fulfilled when all pending orders are processed and shipped. So, the waiting time for the new orders is about 2 weeks (estimated).

After six weeks of waiting, I'm glad you finally received the shipment. However, you state in your post that some Gladiator EVO variants will remain on backorder until all pending orders are shipped. As I ordered the Premium right-handed, does this mean I will have to wait until until all June and July orders are shipped until you send mine? Or do I have to wait until your next shipment?

Seams clear.
If you ordered in June they have been shipped. July go out next week.
The stock they have does not include enough to take certain items off back order but will cover all outstanding orders.

The last part does make it a little muddy about what’s staying on back order.
I’m taking it as each paragraph is a new statement so reading in order all orders up until the end of July will be shipped but keeping certain items on back order as they don’t have enough stock to meet potential demand so tempering expectations.

Mine is from June 14th. Still processing here too.

It's this line "All currently placed backorders for Gladiator NXT EVO will be fulfilled when all pending orders are processed and shipped" which is, as Warby said, a little muddy on what's staying on backorder.

I did open a ticket and was just told it may have been a little too ambitious to get all the June orders out this week, so will see how it goes next week.

That's what I thought. But it would be nice form them to get an update even if it's not best news.

I don’t get it; why do they keep digging the hole deeper and deeper, instead of giving out careful statements regarding backorders. I‘m just glad my order was from start of July and hope to receive my package next week, but realistically I don’t understand how it can take that long after receipt. Don’t want to be nitpicky, but the least I expect would‘ve been a response to ETA requests and a general update.

Very frustrating first customer experience.

I agree. It’s very frustrating and it’ll be the last time I ever order from VKB.

I understand that VKB Europe is a separate entity but the lack of communication and updates is discouraging to say the least. Not the mention that when there is communication it turns out to be damage control statements filled with false promises.

English may not be the first language. Even with a very good understanding of English choosing the correct words and phrase may work well until translated.
Also the marketing isn’t their strong point. There so many positives about VKB value and features that the stock situation and waiting list should be used as a plus and thus people would not mind waiting as they are in the que to get such a good value product.
Yet at the moment the stock situation and the explanations are making VKB Europe look a bit, bloke with a wearhouse is in over their head. Which I’m sure they’re not, but perception is 9/10th of the consumer experience law and choice in purchasing has a lot to do with how people view the company.

Best wishes VKB Europe, I understand you’re doing your best. I eagerly look forward to my order arriving soon. Ordered June 16th.

Hmm.. order on VKB page still processing but have had a shipping notification from UPS for a Tuesday delivery. UPS don't have the parcel yet so I suppose that's why I'm not getting an import charge. We'll see. Something happening at least. I hope other orders are moving too.

Hi all,

Sorry that I can't reply often on the forum, we are too busy with the arrived batch at the moment.

Let me clarify what the status is.

The shipment arrived on the 30th so since the 31st we started shipping all backorders as well as new orders for items "in stock".
We still aim to finish processing all backorders from June this week as we work on the weekend as well. It will be picked up by a courier on Monday apparently but they all should be fully processed and you, guys, should receive a notification from the delivery company with the tracking link.

Next week I believe we should be able to ship most of July orders but due to VKB21 campaign we got more orders and therefore it will take longer than a week.

Of course we ship strictly following the principle "first in, first out". The earlier placed orders are shipped first. If a customer placed multiple orders, they are all processed based on the the earliest order number.

I believe your order is for non-EU destination (UK, NO or CH). In your case, you have received a notification that the label is created. Then I believe tomorrow you should also receive a notification that the order is Completed. It means it is fully processed and awaiting for UPS courier to pick up.

For EU customers we use automated system which change order to Completed as the label is printed. But it anyway means that usually next day the order will be fully processed and ready for pickup.

In some rare cases, during packing process, we might see some issue with the compatibility of items or obvious mistake in ordering. VKB products are modular and sometimes customers made a mistake. We hold such orders and make a contact with the client but the status of the order is Completed but tracking is not updating for couple of days. In this case, just check your Spam folder or open a ticket with us.
