Eduard hasn't replied to this thread in 9 days. Considering the Eindhoven delays are due to needing paperwork this is mad.

UPS CEO isn't responding to complaint and questions as to why parcels before and after a certain point are getting through but there's this bunch stuck in the middle for no apparent reason.

Time to send some more emails!

I'm really enjoying this time off work and getting used to my new HOTAS. /s

Just seen on the UPS tracker that my order is only just now being returned to sender, after being stuck in Eindhoven since 19th January. - that’s not VKB’s fault, it’s UPS’s as I have received two deliveries from Vilnius via FedEx in that time, with only a delay of just over a week.

Possibly worth having a conversation with FedEx if UPS are unable to process shipments in a reasonable time. At least they get the parcels in to the UK before they’re processed for customs.

Hoping the problems are resolved by march as I was planning to get a gladiator ordered. Can we ship from the US supplier to the UK atm?

On the plus side, loving the VKB pedals. Finished off the immersion aspect of VR. Don't think my wallet is going to appreciate getting into VR sims .

So mine just arrived, this was after several emails, phone calls, and sending my invoice to the team in the UK who forwarded it to the team at Eindhoven, not sure if it was the emails that got it sorted, or if it was just a matter of time.

Hope that others can have some success and hopefully no one has this kind of hassle again.

Give me a shout if I can help.

Hi ranjeybaby do you have the email address you sent the invoice to that you could put up? Mine is still stuck in Eindhoven with nothing happening!
Thanks!

Hi Flack,

mark.sheehy@europe.ups.com was the email that got the ball rolling for me, my email was forwarded to him from the CEO at which point he called me and put me in contact with someone in the UK customer support team, I can't give you their specific email as it is just the generic customer support one, but maybe give him a try an hopefully he can get things started for you.

I've just found this thread after losing it with UPS customer support - they've suggested raising a "lost item" claim and its not to say necessarily that is is physically lost - but it puts a fast track on someone investigating it or so she said!

I'll give the emails listed a go too, wish I found this sooner as it's obviously the weekend now and nothing will happen before Monday...

My pedals have been sitting in Eindhoven since the 15th Jan...

My pedals were sitting there for around a month, and a phonecall with customer support ended in exactly the same suggestion. I ignored that and sent an email to ctome@ups.com, it got the situation escalated to the right people and the pedals arrived a few days after.

Others haven't had much luck with the emails, but it worked for me and quickly. Good luck.

Oh and there was a £45 charge, customs and handling.

Hello

I have the same problem, I paid double tax, UK alone is 82 pounds
The package was last scanned on February 4.
I too sells goods all over the world and the new regulations say that only goods produced in the EU and GB are tax-free.

I don't blame VKB, but hand on heart, I wouldn't place the order as if I knew it would cost me 40% tax.
Or I would buy on VKB sim AliExpress because I saw a pedal there for the same price and I would get the goods quickly and without taxes.
My order:15213
Gunfighter Mk.III - MCG Pro EN /w twist
VKB-Sim T-Rudder Pedals Mk.IV

However, on your website I can see information that now you are sending goods to the UK without EU tax.
Can we also count on improved invoices and corrections?
Or declarations that the goods were produced in the EU to apply for a tax refund from the customs office?

Yours sincerely
J

I emailed the ctome@ups.com address and explained the situation, I've also now received a call from the manager in Nottingham. He said his team has dealt with 7 cases from VKB customers so far, so it looks like they're getting through our orders. It's after 5pm on a Friday now so nothing will be done over the weekend but his team are going to get in touch on Monday, I'll update everyone here with what they tell me and see if they can't give everyone's order a kick along the process as well.

Your email is pure gold:)

Hello Mr...

My contact to you was in response to the email you sent our CEO, Carol T., in the US.

It was only to let you know we have received it here in the UK and my team will start their investigation for you.

I apologise for the delays you have experienced but we have had a lot of complaints regarding this particular shipper in the Netherland, VKB, so we should be able to resolve for you fairly quickly.

Please rest assured my team will take ownership of this and keep you updated.

Thank you

Yours sincerely

Mark S.

I placed an order on the 19th January that got caught up in UPS hell, but, after 2 weeks of contact with their customer care team, I've just been informed that I can expect delivery before 12.00 today.

One thing that came out of this contact is the real reason why there has been delay, the follow is from an email that I received from them on Friday (15th)

'I am sorry for the length of time you have been waiting to get your shipment, following on from the investigation I raised into this with our Transport Director I have now obtained further information regarding the cause of the delay with your shipment.

Your package is currently being held at our London Hub, otherwise known as Stanford-Le-Hope on the tracking. This facility is an automated location and our processing and sorting is completely automated. Having raised this to the highest possible level possible it has now been determined that due to data issues your package has been stuck in a loop within our automated sort and as such this is why despite us trying to intercept the package so as to forward this on to you we have been unable to do so at present.

I have been assured that our most senior management as well as our operational support team are working to get the data issues resolved which will enable us to correctly forward on not only you package but those of other customers experiencing the same delays.

Whilst I understand that this does not take away from the inconvenience you have faced regarding the delay of your shipment I can assure you that we are working on getting this issue resolved as quickly as possible, but unfortunately I am yet to be able to confirm when this will be delivered to yourself.
'

as previously stated, the email contact that started the ball rolling was mark.sheehy@europe.ups.com (thanks to TemujinRain94 for providing the intial tranch of email addresses)

I know through talking with UPS that there are several VKB customers (amongst 1000's of others!) that are in the same position, so hopefully, now that the real problem has been identified, we're closer to a resolution!

Hope all are safe and well,

Hello VKB team
Could I ask for an answer to my post and e-mail?

I got a message to UPS that I have no proof that I have paid EU VAT. I would like to apply for a refund of additional fees that have already amounted to over 41% of the value of the goods

until today I have not received the goods, only orders for additional payments.
Your simplified invoice also does not state that I have paid EU VAT.

I am asking for help and some information.

Thank you

Oh dear. I was getting excited and was about to place my order, but after reading this I think I'll have to find a different brand :(
It's a shame, because VKB sticks look incredible, but the chaos around shipping is enough to put me off
