Looking at buying this beauty. Just wondering if the red start button really works, ie do the engines start just by pressing this button? Thanks in advance.

Depends on the sim. All controls can be mapped to whatever you want, and if the sim has a "start all systems" button ready for mapping, that includes that functionality
