I just upgraded from MCG Pro to Ultimate ( twist version ) I like the Ultimate, it's amazing
But I want to use those axis / slider ( attached image ) as buttons. Is that possible ???
Never had issues with the Pro ( few years ago, I only made the brake lever as button, for Pro but I'm not sure if it's working with the Ultimate )
Could anyone help me, please ?
I have the latest firmware 2.165

When it comes to programming, they work in a similar way, even if they're different grips. Please check this guide and if it's not covering you needs provide more info about it.

I tried step by step, as described in the link
After that, I tried with DCS World, assigned the trim - Nose up / down ( attached image, marked )
It works. But what I don't understand : why doesen't work the right button ( same hat ) to assign the " center " TrackIR ??
I used this " button " many years, with the MCG Pro, for TrackIR " center " as a button, with no issues ( attached image, marked with red )

Fixed it, easier way.
I replaced the hat which came with the package
Now, the last thing, I want to assign the brake lever as a button

Check the box in the red box in the pic. Press Set.

I don't have such a box

You need to be in Axes2Buttons tab - click on it. On the right side.

I wish I could modify a bit, the brake lever, it's too stiff
Would that be possible?
This joystick it's just amazing. I have now 2 springs on each axis
#40 + #20 and it feels absolutely amazing

Short of sourcing your own appropriate torsion spring that fits in there, not really.

what about if I replace the brake lever spring from Pro with Ultimate ??
