Hello fellow simmers.
I'm owning two Gladiator NXT EVOs (the left one with the Omni Throttle Adapter) and the T.Rudder Pedals. I also own a Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle.
I primarily used my equipment for fixed wings in DCS and the left Joystick for Star Citizen which both works great.
I now want to use them for helicopter flight, especially the Apache in DCS.
My plan is to remove the springs in the right Joystick to use it as a Cyclic and do the same with the left Omni Joystick to use it as a Collective.
Did anyone here do the same thing? What are your experiences? Does this work good?
How did you configure the collective?
Thank you.

You could visit our Discord server and buzz Austringer for more details, I know he's flying helos with EVOs. He also made some videos about it:

NXT EVO with Throttle adapter&left SCG. I removed springs and tightened dumpers. X axis not fixed. Both axes work fine - as RPM and throttle. So I think your idea is productive.
