Attaching Gladiator EVO Stick to Sidewinder 2 Base

Postby Gulag_For_Brits » Mon May 08, 2023 4:42

Good evening folks, I've been using my Gladiator EVO for a while now and I absolutely love the stick. Having a million buttons and mini stick has spoiled me, which is where my dilemma lies. I've been doing a lot of rotorcraft flying in DCS which is fine with a non FFB stick, but I've found a Microsoft sidewinder 2 for cheap near me and I'm gonna try it out soon. I've seen multiple posts and guides about grafting different stick onto the FFB base of the sidewinder, but I haven't seen anything about doing so with a VKB stick. Have any of you done this before or know someone who has? And if so, what was the process? Much appreciated.

I'm sorry but I think I'm dumb. What does the blackbox do and how would I use it in this situation

You could connect any VKB grip directly to a Black Box and seat it on the SW base; you'll get 2 USB cable out of that. Of course, it requires a lot of DIY and some electrical knowledge.
