Need Help Understanding Switches

Postby cfischer21 » Fri Aug 19, 2022 2:39

I'm still in the process of understanding all the buttons.

There are 2 switches at the bottom of the base: Sw1 and En1.

What do they do?

You could use them as encoders or regular buttons, nothing crazy about them.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what does an encoder do?

Encoders generally measure the position of something. You can think of it like a slider, as far as input is concerned.

Encoder converts axis rotation to two buttons pulses depending on direction. Also you can set it as virtual axis.
