Best set-up for switching between helicopter, fixed wing and space

Hello all,
I don't know if this question has been asked and answered, if it has please forgive the re-ask.
I am setting up flight sim for the first time in years, last time was "Jane's Longbow" and the sticks have defiantly gone through some dramatic changes.
I have decided to buy the Gladiator series for both stick and throttle.
My questions are:
Since I intend to switch between different flight platforms, which stick for my right hand will work best, F14, Space Combat or WWII?

For the throttle, since I will want to be able convert from throttle back to stick, should I get the stick and adaptor?

To use the right hand as a center stick, do I need anything else or can it just be repositioned from right to center?

I realize these are probably pretty basic, but your experienced insight will be appreciated!

Seems to me your best fit would be a right hand F14 or SCG grip and a left hand SCG grip with the omnithrottle.

I would not advise buying it with the intent of switching it back and forth, the process of changing the omnithrottle shaft for the straight one takes several minutes and it's not a good idea to be screwing in and out of plastic, doing so will cause stress to the plastic, making it go loose over time.

It seems that the gladiator should not be used as a center stick as it may become a bit uncomfortable...
