ISO: Star Citizen Mappings: Left Evo P, Right NXT P

Postby Rinji » Sat Apr 23, 2022 3:20

Hi,

I'm in search of mappings for Star Citizen that makes use of a Left NXT EVO OMNI Premium and a Right NXT EVO "Space" Premium. I was hoping I could find someone that went through the pain and could export their control files. I realize the mappings are often quite personal and there is no default setup. I will eventually build one myself but I would love it if someone had a starter profile built. So many buttons and such to configure and Star Citizen's UI does not make it easy.

Thanks!

You could try Subliminal's bindings:

Oh those are nice ideas! Thank you.

Dump question: Where can I find blank sheets to fill in with my control mappings? I'd love to autogenerate that but I don't think it exists.

How are you liking the NXT Omni? How does the NXT compare to the gunfighter base?

I love it. Took out one spring to make it a throttle.

Right space as per this thread’s title. Love that too. Very happy with my purchases. Sticks are stiffer than I was expecting but I adjusted quickly. Assembly and calibration required but it did not take long.

what is the main difference between the NXT Evo and the Gunfighter MKiii in terms of feel and performance?

What I am trying to figure out is if I should get a left handed SCG NXT Evo Standard/OMNI or left handed SCG GF MKIII.

I’m no expert but the way I think about it is based upon what your needs are. If you are using flight sims go for GF. If you play space, use EVO for the extra buttons. I prefer the space over GF due to design. Both can be used for any purpose.

It´s great! I mean:
The Gunfighter Base remains the best base on the market! And for the main hand, the combo with the MCG Ultimate is of course also perfect and in my opinion there is also no better what you can treat yourself.
For the left hand, the Omni Throttle is also perfect! But here is clearly the price-performance factor in the foreground. For the price of a Gunfighter Base I get the complete package. I would not have bought, however, if the Dry Clutches etc would not be there. So now I have a perfect "HOTAS / HOSAS Hybrid"! Can use it like a classic Throttle, but still have the axes to strafe! Only problem could be the barely noticeable center position.
However, if you are like me and only use Throttle Forward, this should not be a problem. I actually use the brake lever on the MCG for flying backwards. The braking itself I have put on a button because I in SC as good as the brake. And if it does, it's an emergency and I have to do an emergency brake anyway. So I also do not need an axis ;-)
In short, I don't need the precision and feel of a Gunfighter Ultimate on my left hand. It's definitely more relaxed on the left. In addition, there is clearly the price. This "package" is in my eyes simply unbeatable and worth every penny! If I'm honest, I'm also no longer so fond of the TECS! What I have is just PERFECT and it flies just great! What bothers me about most classic Throttles, is the Ergonmie! X56 and Co I find terrible! Everything totally overloaded and I have no idea where to put my hand without accidentally pressing any button! And since it is a "stick" in this case, I no longer have this problem. Everything fits together perfectly and I can make a very clear recommendation here

Which cams/springs are you using on your GF? is the center position better with the gunfighter?
I think you are correct in the price performance estimates here. Its pretty much double for the gunfighter vs the nxt evo. Do the NXTs allow you to change grips if you ever wanted to upgrade?
