Will this throttle work with my MK3 base and black box? Will it work as a seperate USB device? Thanks all...TC....Eddie

I guess that was a stupid question? Does VKB have a throttle that can be connected to, or used with the MK3 Base? Some way to connect one to the Gunfighter black box? I like the NXT throttles. If no MK 3 throttle from VKB, does anyone have suggestions for something similar? Will Virpil products work with VKB? Thanks to all...take care...Eddie.

The only throttle like device we have at this time is the THQ. It won't work connected directly to the Black Box, but could get plugged to USB as any other independent device by upgrading it.
You might want to wait for the German throttle which is supposed to get released soon; this is getting installed over the THQ.
Any other throttle from the market, being Virpil, Thrustmaster etc would work together with any VKB device in the same system.

I'm a bit confused fallout9. VKB, clearly have a throttle that would work with my Gunfighter MK3 via the USB upgrade. My question is, why do I have to install the upgrade USB kit? The parts are all there, so why not ship the Throttle with the USB upgrade installed at the factory? If VKB were to install the upgrade for me, I would be happy to compensate accordingly. So let me get this straight, you want to get a THQ already upgraded with a GNX HID controller?

Yes fallout9. I want the throttle module alread upgraded for the USB etc. that allows me to simply connect via usb. Plug and play,so to speak. Can I buy it already assembled? Thanks again my friend...take care..

It appears I failed to properly describe what I"m looking for. Right now, I have the Thrustmaster VG TWCS throttle. connect via USB and calibrate in IL 2. There are drivers available for the Thrustmaster, but I don't need them as Windows reckognises the throttle and it can be calibrated in game settings. Does VKB have anything similar? Maybe connect VKB throttle to my black box for recognition? Connect to PC via USB and calibrate in game same as Thrustmaster? I sure hope this kinda clears up what I"m trying to do. The only thing that you need to do is to calibrate the module after plugging in. Also, there might be an issue with your set up - if you want a single module, like the THQ, you would need to mount it or attach it to the desk somehow; it's too light to be operated without other modules attached to it or being attached to the desk/mounts.

Yes, this is the store page. But, if you fly warbirds you might want to wait a bit more so the German throttle would show up in store too; this element just gets installed on top of a THQ.
