Love your equipment but question on Ukraine war

Postby Lordalexander » Sun Mar 06, 2022 19:54

I have gotten two of your stick in the last 3 months and have been directing friends to get gear from yall as well. My concern comes from the fact that vkb was started in Russia. If I buy equipment from you will some of that money in the form of taxes be supporting the Russian government? Thank you in advance.

There is absolutely no relation between the VKB company and Russia, other than some of the employees being born there and a 1 person operated resell website. VKB is 100% Chinese company, with head office, main warehouse, most of the employees, the whole line of production in China. VKB is also a diverse company, with employees born in Russian federation, US, Germany, Canada, China etc. There are no taxes, fees or anything of the sort getting to the Russian government.

We were born in the USSR.
USSR = Russia (core) + 14 "national republics" (Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, etc., Kazakhstan, Armenia, etc).
Most of us were born outside Russia, and are not even ethnically Russians.
In the British Empire people spoke a local language that was different for many (be it Eskimo, Punjabi or Zulu), and English.
In the Soviet Empire (heir to Russian Empire) it was much the same.
So we all speak Russian, just to make it easy.

Most of us left the territory of the former USSR decades ago. Me personally - in 1997.
Thinking that we can be associated with whatever Russia does now.... you know. Sergey Brin, by the way, left Russia about the same time.
People are what they do. Not what their birthplace is.
Best Regards,
AeroGator

Thank you AeroGator. Your Story sound absolutely fascinating. I hope that one day we might be able to read more on the story of the people behind VKB,
