Yesterday I was swapping out grips on my GF mk3 base and forgot to unplug the blackbox from my PC until after I already removed the grip. Can anything be screwed up by doing this? Everything seems to be working just fine but I want to make sure

I would say as long as everything is working fine you are likely ok.
I would definitely not make a practice of doing it that way though.
