X/Y Axis Jumpy and won't stay centered. (FIX)

Postby Snacko » Thu May 20, 2021 16:25

 Just wanted to share a fix I made to my VKB Gunfighter MKII MCG Pro.

The X axis has been flakey ever since I bought the stick 3 years ago. I've taken it apart and put it back together and it would 'seem' to be fixed, but after some use it would start to happen again. The Axis would not stay centered and when it was moved it would be very jumpy.

The last time I took it apart was about 2 months ago. I had always noticed that the little white plug that snaps into the housing and has 4 wires, was always loose. The 4 wires would actually rattle inside that white plug connector. I assumed that once it was plugged in thought that the connections were ok. But this time I took the tips of toothpicks and put a tiny touch of superglue on the tip, and pushed them inside next to each of the 4 wires to make them 'snug'. It worked fine, they didn't rattle / wobble anymore. And I have not had any problems with my X axis since. It's always centered and never jumpy. Hope this helps.. :D
