Why can't i pull same amount of G's with NXT ?

So i have this logitech X52
I've been using it for ages.
Now i have NXT gladiator, and i can't pull the same amount of G's . It's like the range of motion of the NXT is not enough.
YES i have calibrated the stick.
What gives ?
