Modern Combat Grip Pro labels explained

Postby Kevko » Sun Mar 21, 2021 5:31

Can someone please explain the labels on the MCG Pro? (ie: what does "DC" stand for and what actions is it mean to be bound to?)

I am trying to determine which buttons are meant to be bound to which actions in various flight sims. Also, I have heard that in real life the "AP disengage" trigger is supposed to be held down to temporarily disable autopilot and then autopilot should continue after releasing. Do sims such as DCS support such bindings? Or is the label just there to mimic some real life flight stick?

The stick is built after Russian/Soviet fighters, specifically the Su-57:

You can see the same design DNA in the MiG-29 (and Su-33, and more) in DCS:

Unfortunately there are no reasonably modern Russian aircraft full fidelity modules in DCS as of yet.
