Hi everyone,

I have stumbled upon a well priced local listing for a Gladiator K Premium, however I cannot seem to find a well rounded comparison between the two sticks.
I've seen and read a lot of reviews for the NXT Premium, which is actually the stick I want to buy, but would like to know what the differences between the two are, just because I might be able to get it for a good price.

Excluding the obvious base buttons layout, I'd really like to know how's the build quality, durability and basically everything that's different between the 2.
Are there differences between both sticks' Kosmosima grip implementations?
I'm really interested if the Gladiator K, does also have the "hydraulic" feel of the stick that the NXT has.

The grips are exactly the same, minus the connector - the grip connects to Gladiator K through GF connector and to the Gladiator NXT through NXT connector. Gladiator MKII/K has a very robust gimbal, but it's inferior to NXT's and it's normal, because the NXT is recent design and MKII/K is 6-7 old design. The way the MKII/K's gimbal feels is lighter than NXT's and there's only 1 spring that fits the assembly, compared with the 3 options for the NXT.

I'd say so. I've tried the Gladiator Mk II, same gimbal (but with the KG-13 grip on it) and it was a very nice feeling gimbal. Much better than any of the offerings from any of the mainstream manufacturers (and I'd include the Warthog in that too).

From what I've seen and from people's comments, it does seem, however, the the NXT is an even better feeling gimbal than the Gladiator Mk II/Gladiator K.

There is one advantage of the Gladiator K though and that's the fact that you're getting a Gunfighter compatible grip in with the bargain. So if you decide later on to upgrade to the Gunfighter base then you'll not have to buy a grip to go with it.

On the other, other hand, VKB are planning on releasing an upgrade kit for the Gladiator NXT's grip that will allow you to put that grip on a gunfighter so it's not like with the NXT, you'd be stuck for an upgrade path either. You'd just have to buy the upgrade kit and the Gunfighter base.

To be honest, a sawed off broomstick wedged in a bowling ball's fingerhole will be a massive upgrade to what I currently have
Since I want to buy once and buy right, I had to know if the differences are significant enough to steer me in either direction. Guess the K will be good enough for some casual space sim flying, so I will check that one out.
