VKB-SIM

I cannot find how, once I have completed a profile in config., to have it selectable, as a controller option in games.
Most games have a controller menu, but VKB is not an option. ie. IL2, WoS, dcs
Does the nxt “auto load” a generic default profile ?
If so, what is the default layout?
I can create profiles in game but don’t know how to save each one as a custom configuration in the vkb application.

If I understood correctly, you want to make profiles in the VkbDevCfg application, and have that profile appear in a game?

I don't think that is possible. You set a layout in the VkbDevCfg software, and it gets flashed into the stick. As far as Windows/games are concerned, it's a joystick with XY buttons and axes. No way for it to be reconfigured on the fly.
In-game profiles are another thing, and you cannot use them in the VKB app.

What you could do is have different VKB profiles, and load the required one before starting respective game. I thought of that as well, but can't be arsed to re-flash the stick every time, so I made a VKB configuration that would serve all the games and then map functions in each game.
