90° cable connector for Gunfighter

Anyone changed the original cable connection to a 90° one on the gimball side? If yes, can you give me directions where to find them, and what is the exact name of the connector. i already bought 2 different types which look the same on picture, but turned out slightly different in size. Also VKB should consider to sell cables with the 90°connection on 1 end, or sell 90°adaptors. My gunfighter mounted to the front part of my seat, and i always affraid that i break the connector/gimball when i sit in as the cable sticks out too much.
