Joystick with Yaw twist no pedals
Hello and Thank You from Florida. My problem is at 85 years old have some leg and nerve feet issues. At present fly with Gladiator MK2 and CH Pro Throttle but can use the MK2 throttle. Problem I have is the MK2 is a little small for my big hands and when I grip the stick to turn for yaw have to squeeze or grip pretty tight and of course the MK2 is offset which makes me grip tighter. I used to love the feel of the old CH fighter stick old technology. Is there some suggestions for an upgraded stick to allow me to continue to fly. Mostly X-Plane with a larger JS for desk application..At 85 calibrating and tweaking , and modifying comes a little hard but would like to know of any options the community is aware of. Thought about the VKB pedals but not easy to purchase and return even with a surcharge shipping etc. Been reading your forum great stuff a lot beyond my understanding but great reading for the quarentene virus issue.I fly right handed. Thanks for any help. First post hope I explained my problems.

Hey daffy!
Greetings from London!
So I think I understand correctly that you like to use a bigger joystick with twist for yaw, that is more comfortable for you to operate.
The CH fighter stick was great! I used it decades ago! With the gladiator mk2 I don’t think it’s possible to swap out grips. So you would need to get a new stick base and grip. Vkbs biggest grip is the MCG pro. You would need to get it with twist adapter for yaw. Additionally you will need to purchase the gunfighter gimbal base.
This is probably the best stick/gimbal combination money can buy and comes at a enthusiast price.
Another option would be looking at the Logitech X-56. It is a step down in quality but you would get a joystick that is similar in size and layout to the ch fighter stick. It is also much easier to set up and calibrate. It sells as a HOTAS unit and comes with a throttle as well that is quite good. You should be able to get it from amazon.
I hope that helps!
