Where do you install the stick with the extension on?

Where do you install the base of the vkb stick with the 8" curved extension on? I don't have one (yet) but I can make a guestimation based on the height measurements provided. On a table, it would be above my head. On the floor, the trigger would barely pass the seat of my chair.

I'm guessing some sort of desk mount. Do any users have a good experience with any particular one?

New here, but I will show you where I have mine. Top of seat to bottom of flightstick base is abt 5.5 inches. Hope this helps.
