Hi forum community,
I was thinking about getting the VKB stick with the MCG, KG12 and the yet to be released Tomcat grips, but then I wondered if (and how much) of a hassle it would be to switch out the grips often.
To anyone that switches out their grips often, do you have to remap the buttons on your DCS profiles or no? Are there any inconveniences or annoying problems or time-consuming requirements to switch out the grips and get it running properly?

Re: Switching out grips?
The procedure is each time you change to a different grip you have to reflash to the proper firmware for that pair of grip and base. There isn't a universal firmware that will let you just swap and go. It's not that big of a deal and once you've done it a few times it'll come naturally. The good news is you can save your profiles and reload them after you've flashed. So no you don't have to go through reprogramming the whole thing every time. Just flash, recalibrate, load your profile and you're back in business.
