Hello VKB Forum
Would like to know if the new Kosmo SCG grip is compatible with the Gladiator MK2 (non pro) base.
If it does do i have to purchase the $21.00 Upgrade Kit Lite?
Also does this grip work on MacOs.
What does aero and robo mean?
Will it work with WW2 and modern Jet Fighter games.
Question about SCG grip

Re: Question about SCG grip
Sounds like the SCG is not compatible with non-pro Gladiators. The Upgrade kit Lite is needed to make it compatible for the Non-Pro Gunfighter. I haven't heard anything about the availability of the upgrade kit though, that's another thing to consider. One would hope they produce it to sell in the store again...
Don't know about MacOS
As for aero and robo in the description, they're just saying works for flight sims, mecha sims (Mechwarrior) or space sims

Re: Question about SCG grip
Hello Marcus
Correction I think you may be wrong about your answer. Look at this from VKB NA:
I sent them an email and they said it does work last night.
I tried to paste the info in this email. Cant get that to work yet.
Try this
GO to VKB NA website vkbcontrollers.com
Click on News and Updates
Click on VKB Kosmo is Coming
Click on Stand Alone Grip
Scroll down to Compatible Bases
It says Gladiator (non pro) with Upgrade Kit Lite installed.
When you say robo or mechwarrior does that mean it also works with WW2 and Jet Fighter games
Mac users need to know if SCG works with MacOS.
My Gladiator MK2 non pro works on my MacBook
I followed the calibration procedure for Mac.

Re: Question about SCG grip
Right, I see where I may have confused you, when I said
When I say
So, pay attention to see if they release the Upgrade Kit lite, as that will determine if you can use this grip from your Gladiator. As it stands now, you will not be able to use the grip without that upgrade kit. Since the Gladiator works on a Mac and you were able to follow the calibration procedure, I'm betting there's a good chance the Kosmosima will work on a Mac too.

I meant Non-Pro Gladiator I get those two words confused too often.marcusstratus wrote: The Upgrade kit Lite is needed to make it compatible for the Non-Pro Gunfighter.
When I say
I do indeed mean WW2 and Jet Fighter games. As far as I know, there's nothing special about VKB sticks that makes them work for one game that accepts analog input compared to another game that accepts analog input. Any game that accepts a joystick will work with the Kosmosima.marcusstratus wrote:blah blah...they're just saying works for flight sims.... blah blah
