1x 20-spring vs 2x 10-spring (Gunfighter Pro TT)

Is there a difference when using 2x 10-spring vs 1x 20-spring?

I feel I have heavier feeling at the beginning of the movement with two lighter springs, however the more I bank it, the more feeling becomes the same.

Is it only me, a placebo, or is there something to it?

I didnt try (btw I have Gladiator) but I would receommend always to use one 20# spring. WIth that you will have an increase in resistance as you pull your stick away which is how it should be and how is intended to be.

I use quite heavy springs on my stick as it's what I'm used to from previous sticks. I ended up going with a #30 and a #20 on one axis and I think a #30 and a #10 on another. It's worth noting that the #30+20 is very noticeably softer than the #50. So don't pay attention to the numbers, they only indicate a difference between the springs, not what that difference is.

Thanks a lot @marcusstratus
Numbers are for reference.
The numbers do in fact mean something but more to engineers on this side than to the end users.
To the users the springs could be named like A, B, and C - rather than 10, 20, 50, etc. Like, every next letter means another step up in hardness, but there is no proportional relation between #10 and #20.

Ah, ok! Thank you. An useful info. I thought really it was a kind of measure. Like 10+10=20.
Now I’m sure it’s not a placebo.

Aerogator, I asked in another thread: where can I currently get a MCG Pro Rev.A grip?
