Update on twist grip?

Postby pegg00 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 18:20

Hello all, new here. Im very curious about the twist grip extension previousy mentioned. I really desperatley want a Gladiator mk2/Gunfighter mk2 + MCG Pro, but I really need a twist grip to go with them. Any updates as to when they will be available / where they are in production, the last update as far as I can tell said they will be out mid May 2018 but were quite a bit past that. Also can owners decribe the differences between the Gladiator mk2 and the Gunfighter mk2? Can you use a seperate throttle with the Gladiator mk2 even though it has a tiny one?

Last I heard the claim is that the twist is being held up due to patent registrations or similar paperwork. Although that seems a bit flimsy since there are several mitigations for this like "patent pending" and similar.

I used to have some miniscule amount of hope that we could possibly get some twists before summer but now I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get them until november or something. It really sucks since my current setup needs a twist to work and having to work around that is clunky and unintuitive for me.
