Coming from Thurstmaster t16000m

So I am coming from a thurstmaster t16000m to a gunfighter with mcg pro and what I have noticed is that the T16000m has more tension around the center position which makes it easier to hold a position without overshooting or have jagged movements. Currently I am double springed on the gunfighter with the 10 and 20s in parallel on each axis. I did this to increase the tension to mimic the T16000m but I notice an increased resistance as I approach the limits. It still doesnt really compare to that tight tension I am looking for to keep my movements steady around the center?

I guess the next step is to swap the cams out, I am wondering if changing the cams from 10 to 30 and removing the extra 10 spring will get the feel I am looking for?

Any advice is appreciated.

I think i use #20 or #30 springs with stock cam.
I also came from t16000m and had similar problem.
Well thing is you are used to t16000m which has quite different spring system so you won't be able to achieve that feeling with gunfighter.
Solution; get used to gunfighter and t16000m will feel weird and clumsy to you after a while, simple as that.
Also you'll notice softer tension around center provides better precision.
It is always weird going from one system to another and solution is always in getting used on it.
Now there is no way i go back to t16000m!

Did you do any curve tweaking?

I downloaded profile for kg12 grip and did some curves in game settings (il2-box).
I did test various combinations of springs and cams, after a month of testing i came to conclusion best option is stock cams and #20 springs.
I also adjust curves in game so i don't need to go from end to end on gimbal axis, is short that i don't need too much force going full on axis ingame.
After some time i get used to it and i wouldn't change it for any other joystick.

Thurstmaster... *shudders*

When you get the time, try the other cams and see what you think.

I went back to 20 springs and 10 cams and I feel like it is the best for me. I adjusted the curve starting at 32 going to 128 and found it gave me decent precision around the center axis.

I tried out the 30 cams, did not like them. Instead of the extra resistance being a circular around the center, it was a box and it make hard to control movement.
