Re: Questions and Answers
Yep, all MCG development, including the twist adapter, is running concurrently, albeit by different engineers. I don't expect any earlier release than the aforementioned "September 2017" window. Of course, I will keep everyone up-to-date via newsletter.

Regarding the Gladiator Pro MkII...
Does it support 2 springs per axis as the Gunfighters do?

Negative.
Gladiator, unlike GF, is solely a tabletop device, and was never meant to be used with an extension. You need 2 springs when you need to load a longer lever, but for a desk/tabletop it is an overkill.

Re: Questions and Answers
Thanks AeroGator.
I was just Curious as to what the possibilities are with this stick.
Sokol gave me good info on BOS forum as well.

I was Using CH HOTAS for 18 years without issue.
Decided I wanted to check out the magnetic sensor sticks.
Night and day and a bit of a shock as I get my feel for these.
I think I pretty much got it figured out as far as feel goes, swapping cams and springs checking each senario for preference.
Ultimately I went back to original setup as it was shipped and just need more time to make it me now as I did with the CH stuff.
It is getting smoother and smoother as the stick it breaking in with use.
Really liking this set-up.

Re: Questions and Answers
The new photos of the MCG&MCG pro look the same...
Is the old differences chart still relevant? If so, will the thumbrest button be replaceable to the pro's hat?
And uhmmm...any chance for photos of the throttles? Pretty please?

Re: Questions and Answers
Hi all,
New user here, was wondering how these flight controller sticks work in the left hand as am considering dual sticks for Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous along with a few other games I like to play with 6Dof.
Any info on how VKB sticks are for the left hand would be appreciated as I would like a matched pair if I do eventually go dual sticks, as is I will likely be getting a set of VKB pedals.
(E2a: Found a left stick is planned any chance on some info regards how development is going?)
Regards
LD.

Left hand
@LordDunfunkum
There's been a lot of talking about left hand modifications, and finally one handyman managed to create a pretty neat lefty version of a KG12. Try searching the forum for "lefty", I believe you will find it within minutes.
Although MCG will not have a dedicated left hand version, it will still allow for greater flexibility in setting up controls, and you will be able to use it for left hand with ease and comfort.

Re: Questions and Answers
You can find info in this forum and the US-shop there are 2 left hand projects in development:
VKB-Sim MCG-Left
VKB-Sim Spacesim Throttle Control System (S-TCS) “Kosmosima”
I guess the MCG-Left is for HOSAS and the Kosmosima for HOTAS players. On the other hand the Kosmosima teaser published longer time ago looks more like a stick, than a thrust crontoller.
Furthermore VKB do have a full-metal version of the KG12 in development for over 2 years now...
... I would be very intersted to get some info about ETA, specs and pics for all these projects

Yeah, there should be a left-handed version of the MCG coming out - at least that's what UIV told (and shown) me. So, what information is correct?

To some extent.
A stick for the left hand does NOT mean a left-hand version of a right-hand stick.
A left-hand version of a right-hand stick does NOT mean a mirror flip of the latter.
Playing with Kosmosima-style devices you have sticks for both hands, and sure there are some differences between sticks.
However you can always reconfigure your controls to your liking. This will much improve the comfort level for lefties but it'd be a lie to announce a "really real" dedicated stick for lefties.
