Upgrading my cougar with VKB Gimbal ?

Hello VKB,
My Thrustmaster Cougar gimbal is broken and looking at the Gladiator Pro (http://www.gostratojet.com/Gladiator_Pro/index.html ) or the Gimbal Upgrade for Mamba (http://www.gostratojet.com/Warthog_Adapter/index.html ), I think I might be able to upgrade my cougar with this gimbal along with the Warthog Adapter.
I’m not sure if it could fit, as there’s no specs on size and all, so I’m writing to here, hoping that someone could help (TBH, it's kinda my last option, TM don't sell replacement parts anymore).
The Cougar base is pretty big. I have more than 150mm x 150mm and 40 mm depth inside available. Do you think it could fit? With the plate, I could just just do some hole and/or tap into the plate to make it hold there, then connect the hall sensor into the TM Cougar original PCB (maybe ajusting the cabling from the adaptor too).
To me, it look doable, but I do not have the specs of the gimbal and nor the pricing.
