Left hand stick

Re: Left hand stick
I really want this too. I have a MK2 and MK3 mamba, and I want to use the MK2 in my left hand. I've had no luck finding a left hand grip anywhere! I even asked those modders (Baur or something?) to make me one for lots of cash, and they wouldn't. If someone were to make left hand grips for VKB and Warthog bases they'd do pretty good business, I reckon. I think the only way to get something like this at the moment would be too pay a shit ton of money to some boutique 3D printing company, and commissioning them to make a 'mirror' version of he right hand stick. I've not done this because I imagine it would cost a lot.

I would be interested in a left handed grip too! Especially a left handed version of the "twist KG12 grip" you guys are bringing out.

Re: Left hand stick
Wait - ambidextrous, or left-handed? Because while I only really have the T-16000M to go on, I'm thinking it's going to be hard to get as many buttons on the grip of an ambidextrous design as a handed one - you have to give up the perfectly positioned thumb button halfway up the stick, for one thing!
I'm right-handed, myself, but I'm looking for a grip to go on a second Gunfighter (once it comes out, and I scrounge up the money) to be the left-hand stick in 6DOF games. Wouldn't most ambidextrous designs only get purchased when someone wants a left-handed grip, anyway? As they can just buy a right-handed grip for all other occasions?

Look at ED/Star Citizen boards, a guy are finishing a left hand Warthog grip - he scanned the original, invert in 3D programn and print a prototype for make molds for cast in resin.
3D printing grips with desirable quality is not currently feasible in terms of cost - he spent ~600$ in Shapeways to print.
Of course this prototype cost will reflect in final price, probable their left grip will cost more than a standalone Warthog, that you need buy for use base, Shift Register PCB, HAT's and buttons...
For similar reason is not viable for joystick industry produce "left grips" - the best they can do is ambidextrous (CH Flighstick, Saitek Cyborg, T.16000M), grips molds are costly and will have small demand - although now with Kosmosimovs this demands increased, dexterous people want a left hand stick too.
Probable your more accessible option is modify Mamba Cobra M5 grip for left hand, will be not difficult, the grip shape is basically neutral, just shave the thumb rest and maybe move the left top button, seem this modified one - is not for left hand but give you a idea, notice that palm rest was reduced:

Lemme rephrase - they haven't officially released any pics... not talking about leaks here. But hey, looking good, cannot wait!

@petrvs: Maybe that left-hand grip hasn't been leaked yet?
