I was just wondering, so there are plenty of internal shots of the Black Mamba Mk.III:



However, on my Vintage Black Mamba, the internals are actually slightly different (additional PCB and the connector goes to this new PCB instead of the connector at the front by the RDR Trim dial):



Why the difference?

Becouse Black Mamba grip used old 5-wires protocol.
KG12 grip of Vintage Mamba used new 3-wires protocol.
For connecting KG12 grip to Mamba conroller need to use additional PCB. This PCB installed inside Mamba basement.

Ah okay, does that mean old Black Mamba is incompatible with KG12 grip?

Need the adaptor PCB for compatibility.
