Black Mamba III DIY Chair Swivel Mounting

My flight stick is mounted to my arm chair on a swivel ram mount. This way I can just swivel it out of the way and pull my keyboard out and go with keyboard and mouse configuration while in FPS mode. Very tight mount very fast swivel. Share the pictures and ideas if you like with the others. I might also do this with the throttle quadrant I am working on as well.

More pictures. I place a thick pillow on my pc chair and shove it under the base plate of the flight stick and it supports my elbow perfect.

Thanks for the picture. I used to run a full tower PC case and my flight throttle used to set on top if it. Yes the stick is a bit high but with a pillow it works great. I have had 2 dislocations in my elbow and my wrist is weak from smashing my hand into a tree on a bike accident. Maybe this has something to do with why I placed in where I have. So with my set up and where I have my throttle stick it seems to be ok for me. Also the swivel could have been attached to the lower part of the desk or on a side wall plate with a bigger swing arm.

Recently I used a monitor swing arm stand to mount my Saitek Throttle Quadrant that I have modified with Airbus control levers for use in Elite Dangerous. The swing arm works great and allows position of the throttle where I want it. Also the swing arm allows me to move it away for playing FPS mode using mouse and keyboard. You could use this mod and mount that cost 35. to mount a movable swing arm mount for a Black Mamba. Just passing this idea along to others that might find it useful. My flight rig is almost complete. I am just waiting for a Oculas.

All sections are lockable with alan wrench. Very easy to make an adapter plate out of plastic and have reverse screws from the other side to mount to the mounting plate.
