No, the numbers don't add linearly, they are just model numbers.
#30 + #50 is not the same as 2 × #40.


Thanks for the info!. By the way anybody knows if there are other places we can get these springs? I only order in aliexpress VKB store and the #50 srings for $6 cost $24 to ship. $24! geezz can it be snail mailed as a gift or something?

I use very light dampening on the Y axis, none at all on the X axis. Stick does return to center with a slight oscillation if I take my hand off the stick however I rarely have my hand off the stick so it's a non issue.
