Gunfighter mk3 was acting squirrely. Twist not responding sometimes, brake lever never works.
So, I flashed the black box with the appropriate firmware but when I go to calibrate axis the only axis that respond are x and y.
I love the stick and want to buy the throttle stick that just came out, but obviously not if I'm unable to get the stick working.
Thanks

Re: Gunfighter mk3 some axis not working
GunFighter MKIII is the base, what grip do you have, MCG Pro or MCGU?
Re: Gunfighter mk3 some axis not working
ha! that's good to know. it's the mcg pro, but i tried it again and it seems to be working. I probably just flashed it with the wrong firmware. The stick worked for awhile with no problems, when I first got it. What is the reason for it becoming decalibrated or whatever it was that made it stop working?

Re: Gunfighter mk3 some axis not working
Let's go step by step; first release the fastener securing the grip. When the grip is free press it a bit on the base and tighten the fastener while still pressing on the grip. Afterwards follow exactly the steps in this guide.
Let me know if you still have issues.

I did all that. Occasionally as I'm flying, I will lose z axis or yaw. I hit the default button on the dev config app and it's good for awhile... Until it isnt

Re: Gunfighter mk3 some axis not working
If you hit the Default button the whole thing is back to factory defaults, which means no calibration. This is not a proper fix, even if it works on short term.
Most important thing is the grip is properly seated on the base, as explained before. Second, that it's flashed with the right firmware and calibrated according to the guide posted.
If you'll still have problems after attending these 2 things please say so.

Post pictures please with the 3 pins on the bottom of the grip and the 3 contact pads on the top of the base stem.
