MCGU Availability?

Hello!

I’ve been watching for MCGU availability in North America, and I think it said before end of week on the EU store but I don’t see it available at either? It’s Friday and I was wondering if we had a window for when they’ll go on sale? Looking for a MCGU and GFIII.

First batch is already sold out and second batch - bad thing: is still under production, good thing: it's way larger than the first. Matter of weeks, not months until it hits the stores.

So wait, “Chinese New Year” and “by end of week” were off by weeks? That’s super disappointing.

The whole country is locked out during the CNY. Takes a bit to get back online. It's coming, just have some patience and understanding.

Well yeah, I’m being patient, but I am also trying to figure out when I need to be paying attention to order. I understand the CNY shuts everything down, but I’d also assume that VKB knew this before saying “CNY” as the release date yeah? I’m 100% fine to be patient and waiting, but from the customers perspective, we’re having to fight scalpers for almost every computer component at this point. Being able to know when to be on the lookout for an item is important if we want to purchase them. The concern isn’t so much as whether it comes tomorrow or next week, just that we get an accurate prediction so we can be ready with funds to make the purchase.

The idea is that everyone at VKB HQ tries their best to get them out ASAP. But if something goes wrong on the production line it takes some time to reset the process, the local bureaucracy is widely known and could surprise you at every step with something new, couriers are moody these days - there are a thousand things that could go wrong - the team is well prepared to face them all though and I can only assure you - again - that everybody does their best on this.
The scalpers issue, for example, has been eliminated by increasing the production for each joystick.
