Gunfighter mk 3 aluminium cams?

Is that true anymore that the new cams are .ade of aluminium or am I not aware of changes?

I just received the new gunfighrer mk 3 and I noticed that cams are attacted by magnet. Why?

I think there was a recent post about this.

Original cams were steel, machined, had to be plated (copper first, then chrome). Then they went to machined aluminum when the GF III first came out, so those would be nonmagnetic presumably. Then most recently a cast steel alloy, which is once again plated.
