Gladiator K Mode Button not working

Hello.

On Friday I got my Gladiator K and after installing it I noticed that the Mode Button is not doing anything - it does not change the Mode color from red to green and it doesnt change Button numbers of A1 - C3.
What am I missing here? Do I need to configure the Mode button to switch to green LED and change Button IDs in the software or is this some kind of bug of the most recent Firmware 1.99F?

The Mode button is a regular button because there are too many buttons on the Gladiator K already and if you use a modifier then some of the games won't recognize all the buttons. But if you want to experiment here's how to get the Mode button acting as a modifier.
