Mk III Springs and Cams

Postby Catseye » Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:58

Hi,
What is different about the new Mk III springs compared to the old Mk II springs?

Do the cams in the new Mk III accept 2 springs each?

Thanks for the info.

Looks like the new springs are not going all around the pins like the original ones, so it should be easier to put them on/ take them out. Not sure about their hardness. But I know that 2 springs per axis is still possible with the new cams.

Pulling them out too often would wear them out, no?

I don't think someone would have enough energy to significantly wear the springs by taking them out :) And even so, they come with lots of replacements...

To wear them out you'd need to stretch them past the elastic point which will be fairly obvious.

Or get them hit enough which is also pretty silly
