MCG Pro with DCS2

Postby istvan » Tue Jun 25, 2019 20:48

Hi Guys,

A beginner question. I've just have my GFmk2 + MCG Pro + T-Rudder mk4.
Can I find a good and well-working button mapping for DCS2?
Many thanks,

Istvan

For DCS World 2? That would depend greatly upon which aircraft you fly.

As a beginner I would try many before going deep into a specific one. Currently trying with F15 and thinking about F18. But I'm a fun of propeller-driven planes, as well.
Honestly, I expected a list of profiles for MCG, but strange that can't find any.
Lots of people uses VKB joys and strange that every user has to make his/her own settings from scratch.

IMHO easiest way is to map joystick buttons to keystrokes and use it.
But tрere are a lot of variants. For example some people use Trackir, some look around with HATS, others with VR. Or - WWII (WWI) pistons vs modern jets. Many differencies. Too many.
So aniron is right.

Agree, too many options. That's why I thought someone (eg. at VKB or experienced customers) can share several ready-made mappings for different purposes.
Those lots of buttons was placed there by purpose, I guess.
Thanks anyway.
All the best.
