GNX WWII Throttle Combo Fails to auto detect

Postby grahamfern » Sat Mar 29, 2025 21:37

I have a brand new (arrived today) GNX WWII Throttle Combo and having plugged it in the VKBDevCfg fails to "see" the unit(s). I have tried following the separate guides for each unit in the VKB YouTube Channel but no joy, I cannot see a guide for the combo unit. From what I have read the unit comes ready to use but sadly I get nothing shown in the VKB configurator. The LED lights work and respond as expected. Any suggestions and ideas welcome please. Let me know what screenshots might help etc, thanks.

Try plugging directly to computer, no hubs. Also, unplug other USB hardware, might be a power issue. It'd be great if there's a spare computer/laptop you could try it on.

Thanks. I don't have any hubs, and my only other USB device is a VKB Gladiator NXT (which is seen by VKBDevCfg) and works fine. I have unplugged the Gladiator and connected the GNX WWII Throttle and still nothing shown in the DevCfg App, but the lights on the landing gear, A & B buttons do illuminate on connection.

I did try it on my work laptop but sadly the Microsoft Smart Screen protection kicked in when I launched the App and because it is shown as an unknown publisher it gets blocked and I cannot bypass this due to work security.
