Warning - Mice mapping detected

On the new STECS Throttle System Mk.II I replaced the mini-stick with a 5 -way control (ignoring the 2-wire connector). Now I get an warning: Mice mapping detected but virtual mice disabled. I turned off the mouse on the Global-Common tab and disabled the 2 mini-stick axes. What else do I need to do to stop this warning?

It looks like the thumb 5 way is messed up now too. Only the press is recognized and the other 4 are not.

I fixed the mouse issue -- I went to logical layer and there was a mouse button configured. I changed that back to a button. The thumb 5-way is still not working though.

I reset the throttle again as if I put in a new module and now it is all working. I wish I could delete this whole thread now.

I think I know what happened. I had a profile saved that still included the mini-stick. I replaced the control, did the reboot, but then loaded the old profile. I guess if you swap out modules you'll have to reprogram any buttons.
