Need a third shift

Postby Fran6Paq » Wed Dec 25, 2024 8:11

Hi, I'm new to VKB programming and I'm a bit lost here, so if someone could give me dumb-proof help to set my GNX-SEM, I would be thankful. So far, I achieved to set the A1 button as Shift 1 in alternate mode, and A2 as Shift 2 in alternate mode. Then I set the SW1 white button to have a effect without Shift and a different effect for both Shifts. It works. My problem here is that I would prefer to set B1, B2 and B3 as three Shifts instead of A1 and A2 as two Shifts. But the VKB Device Config program seems to allow only two Shifts.

I've read a few topics here talking about booleans and SubShifts, but I couldn't understand much about that. I know how to change buttons into SubShifts, but I don't know how to make a single button refer to multiple SubShifts.
Here's a little picture of the buttons I'm talking about, if it can help to visualise.

You can use the Modal Switch feature for the 4-way switch on the SEM.
